Everything you could wish for in terms of equipment is provided and it was beautifully clean and furnished to a very high standard . In one word blissful ! We can’t wait to visit again . Thank you

Wonderful cottage in the Dales

Fabulous stay in this wonderful cottage. So comfortable, good quality linen and towels , plenty of hot water and the most comprehensively equipped kitchen I have encountered in a holiday rental for years.

The house was immaculately clean , with a good supply of logs for the wood burner.

Situated in a very quiet part of the Dales, with walking straight from the door, we couldn’t have asked for more and highly recommend.

This cottage benefits from its central Craster location. Bedroom views of the Castle and harbour, walking distance of excellent dog friendly food serving pub with sea views. The smokery nearby also sells essentials like bread, milk etc, parking for 2 large vehicles. Central in a stretch of outstanding coastline preserved by the National Trust.

The open plan living space downstairs with wood burning stove (wood etc included), entertainment system which is easy to navigate, well stocked kitchen with dishwasher etc. makes it easy to entertain family and friends at the cottage.

The beds are soooo comfy, with quality linens and large fluffy towels make it just that more Luxe cottage experience. The showers have great water pressure, with endless hot water - just the thing when you’ve been caught out by the weather!

The thoughtful welcome package for both humans and dog - take the pressure off if you’ve forgotten an essential, and give you the opportunity to taste local produce.

The cleanliness of the place is to be commended. Rarely have I visited a place as clean! A secure backyard gives pet owners peace of mind, and opportunity to share the outside space with their dog. Also a hose to wash your dog and boots off! All very well thought out.

Another magical stay at Middlerigg

Well we keep coming back. Is it the view up the coast to Dunstanburgh Castle, the walk to the Ship Inn at Low Newton, dinner at the Jolly Fisherman, the oak smoke from Robinson's, the beach at Beadnell Bay or the impeccable decor, layout and aspect of the house itself? Well. it's probably all these things and more. So we'll be back again.
