This is our 4th visit to a Catch the Breeze property in Craster. Driftwood was just as amazing as the others and we had a wonderful week. Long walks along the coastal path and beaches. Lovely scenery the highlight perhaps was the Artic Tern nesting ground near Beadnell.
Amazing week thanks to Catch the Breeze again.

Super house in all respects
One of the very best houses we've stayed in as a family and the equal of the very best villas in Italy, France, Spain or Greece. And the weather was kind to us too!

House is immaculate. This was our second visit and it didn't disappoint. Well done to the staff for the cleanliness and well stocked kitchen essentials.

So good, we re-booked on our second day
We have stayed in many self-catering properties before, but this was without doubt the best. Comfortable, warm, clean and with absolutely everything you could possibly need. From a well equipped kitchen, to soft bath sheets and comfortable beds and furniture, we could not fault Middlerigg.
Personal touches were welcome as well. A variety of things in a welcome pack - butter, bread, milk, biscuits etc. And a couple of visits from Claire to check everything was OK was very reassuring.
And then there is the view - across the harbour to Dunstanburgh Castle and out to sea. We could sit all day watching the comings and goings and the rhythm of the village. Not to mention the Jolly Fisherman pub, Robinson's Kippery and shop and the Shoreline Cafe all just around the corner.

A wonderful week in Craster
This was our second stay at Craster Reach and one of many with Catch the Breeze. The property is beautifully presented, spotlessly clean and has everything you need to feel instantly at home.
With the harbour a short stroll away, the coastal path in your doorstep and incredible sea views, the location is exceptional.
