A personal portfolio of holiday properties owned and managed by us – the Sykes family – our exclusive collection has been carefully curated and refined over the last 15 years.

Our properties have been handpicked based on several standout factors, such as stunning locations, amazing views, and beautiful, quirky buildings. We’ve called upon decades of experience to restore, modernise and furnish each property with integrity and sympathetic materials. Every property embraces an appreciation of the landscape, history and community that surrounds it.

What our guests say

Fabulous cottage, beautifully decorated to the highest standard.

Well equipped with everything one might need down to the last detail like the little repair sewing kit. A nice touch was the very welcome provisions on arrival. The cottage is ideally located close to the village with many walking routes both costal and inland.Craster has plenty to offer.

Probably best cottage in Craster

Craster location on the Northumberland coast is ideal for getting to know the area. Harbourway has a brilliant location in the village with views of the Harbour. Just set back far enough from the road so passers by cannot disturb you, the village is so quiet at night you can hear the sea.

The property was a wonderful flow to it, with an extremely well thought out interior. The beds are as comfy as home with good linens and pillows too. The cosy wood burner in the living area is addictive, giving that extra ambiance. Even the ornaments and art work in the property are desirable. The kitchen is well equipped and the ice maker I will miss (I never knew I wanted one).

It will be hard to find another property as all round great as this. If you want luxury, for you and your friends, this is your place.

Thank you for a wonderful time away!

The Reading Rooms were amazing - beautifully managed and cleaned by Ben and Janet. All our communication with Catch the Breeze was extremely helpful and we could not fault them.

The location of the Reading Rooms is fairly remote but that was just what we needed with beautiful scenery and walks on the doorstep or a short scenic drive away.

Thank you so much!

Lovely settings, the house itself is brilliant, and the hosts excellent. They really understand the customer experience. Thanks Tan Llan and Catch the Breeze.

Fantastic stay

Middlerigg had everything we needed. High quality accommodation and extremely clean. It was in a wonderful location with superb views along to the castle. A highlight was getting up early to watch the sunrise over the harbour. Booking and communication was great and Clare was so helpful and friendly. We enjoyed smoked fish from Craster, walks along the coast and trips to explore the spectacular coast, castles and Holy Island.
