Stylish luxury retreats in beautiful surroundings

Our handpicked portfolio of luxury retreats is in response to a deep-seated desire to share the properties we love to spend time in ourselves.

From coastal retreats on the Northumberland coast to the rural idyll of country retreats in the Yorkshire Dales, every Catch the Breeze luxury holiday home is the epitome of discernment and taste.

With years of experience, we take enormous pleasure in our collection of holiday properties that provide peace, beauty and personal touches in equal measure. Places that make you feel there’s nowhere else you’d rather be.

What our guests say

Craster Middlerigg 2026

We have stayed in 5 places in Craster over the years and Middlerigg is by far and away the best by a long chalk. Brilliantly equipped with quality furnishings and equipment, perfectly located with great harbour and coastline views and 44 steps to the Jolly Fisherman for a relaxing pint watching the sea in the evening. I would highly recommend but don’t want other people to know about it in case we can’t book our preferred return dates!!! (We have already booked actually)!

Idyllic Luxury in the heart of the Dales

We had the most wonderful stay, a beautiful home which was hard to leave, but when we did the property is perfectly located to get to experience the beauty that is The Dales.

The fact we could walk outside and be on the Dales Way was beautiful.

We took our Labrador and the property as well as the surroundings were just perfect for a week away with the dog.

Ben was brilliant and checked in to make sure we had what we need. The welcome hamper for us and the dog were such lovely touches.

The most comfortable bed!

Did not want to leave, we will be finding more of the properties to stay in across the UK.

Can not recommend enough!!

Craster Reach is a comfortable, well equipped property in a very good location.

The 418 bus stop, the pub and Robson's are just a stones throw away. Robson's sell milk and eggs, as well as the world's finest kippers, of course.

It was spotlessly clean, has comfy beds and lovely soft fluffy towels. There are three big bedrooms, with a great view of Dunstanburgh Castle from the attic

The team at Catch the Breeze are great, very responsive and extremely helpful should you need them.

Amazing Cottage

We had a wonderful stay at the Reading Rooms this is our 3rd stay this year at a Catch the Breeze property.

They are all finished to an amazing standard.

We could not recommend them highly enough. We will be back very soon.

60th Birthday Family Celebration

There is absolutely nothing to fault Oughtershaw Hall for. From the arrival greeting and information supplied by Ben to the excellent amenities throughout the Hall we had a truly wonderful weekend and will, without any doubt, be returning again. 10/10
