What our guests say

Excellent house

Mill Farmhouse was an excellent home for our family gathering. Chose it for all the bedrooms having en-suites and big open living area which didn’t disappoint. All staff at Catch The Breeze were very attentive and provided excellent service. Wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.

A Fantastic Northumberland Break

A fabulously well designed and equipped house in the centre of Craster. Stylishly furnished with comfortable beds. Plenty of space for up to 6 people with 3 large bedrooms and 2 modern bathrooms with excellent showers and a downstairs cloakroom/utility room.

Fantastic position in village with breathtaking views of castle and countryside. A couple of minutes walk to the local pub The Jolly Fisherman where we would recommend booking as gets very busy at weekends. Thoroughly enjoyed our walk to the castle and beach beyond. Good parking at front of property. Excellent dog walks nearby. We were sorry to leave and will stay longer hopefully next time.

Fantastic stay in a wonderful property. Very professional staff who assisted with reservation and needs during the stay. Lovely setting with flocks of geese flying over each night - such a treat! Property is furnished to a high spec with good bedding and soft towels etc. Kitchen, lounge and dining space simply perfect.

Back to Oughtershaw Hall for a weekend with our family of 15. This was our fourth stay which was yet again amazing. The house and grounds continue to be maintained to the highest standard.

Tara & Ben were great as usual to deal with, and we look forward to visiting again in the future.

The most wonderful birthday celebration!

We have just returned from the most fabulous week spent at Middlerigg whilst celebrating a special birthday with loved-ones. From the moment we set foot inside this outstanding property, we felt instantly at home. Nestled in the centre of Craster, Middlerigg provides stunning views of the harbour towards Dunstanburgh Castle and every care has been taken to ensure a most comfortable and enjoyable holiday. The rooms are beautifully decorated, immaculately clean, spacious and light and there are views from every single window. We loved the kitchen area leading onto the patio, and the upstairs sitting area was an absolute joy - watching the weather over the harbour became an enjoyable daily routine! The house is really well equipped with everything you could possibly need, with high quality fittings, comfortable beds & sofas, plenty of hot water & even logs for the fire which made for cosy evenings when the sun had gone down. The location is perfect, with easy accessibility to all the local amenities and may places of interest in the surrounding area - with amazing walks from the door, and even a wonderful pub just a few steps away! Claire was so helpful and kind and we wouldn't hesitate in booking with 'Catch The Breeze' again. The week will linger long in our memories and we hope to return in the very near future.
