A lovely New Year in Northumberland
Our second stay at Craster Reach. The house was very clean and has everything you could need. A perfect location to explore the area. A lovely New Year finished off with snow!

Fabulous house
We had an amazing stay at Rock Lobster. The house was comfortable and clean and the views were fantastic. We saw dolphins nearly every day. The house is in a great location for exploring the coastline with walks on the doorstep. I can't wait to stay here again. It's just perfect.

A perfect peaceful escape
We had the most wonderful stay at The Reading Rooms in the Yorkshire Dales. From the moment we arrived, it was clear how much care and attention has gone into the place – it’s absolutely immaculate, with an outstanding finish throughout.
Everything you could possibly need is provided, making it feel like atrue home from home, just with much better views! The location is beautifully remote, perfect for switching off and unwinding, with serene countryside all around. Waking up to the sight of sheep and lambs grazing nearby was such a lovely touch and really added to the whole experience.
We also made the most of the local area, including a visit to Hawes and the Wensleydale Creamery, which is a must. A Sunday lunch at The White Hart Inn was another highlight – highly recommended and the perfect way to round off the weekend.
If you’re looking for a peaceful, high-quality escape in a stunning setting, The reading rooms from Catch the Breeze is hard to beat, like all their properties We’ll definitely be back.

Special occasions in a beautiful area
The Reading Rooms are typically well appointed and equipped as expected from Catch the Breeze. Loved being beckside. Ben is the local agent and is a great bloke.
Birthday and anniversary celebrations in the wonderful Yorkshire Dales. Drive up over the moor to Hawes.
Weather limited walking with some flooding in fields and the odd road. Hardraw Force dramatic at the moment.
Stone House Hotel, White Hart, Green Dragon and George Inn all good eating. Gayle Mill (Thursdays) worth a visit. Would love to return in drier weather and venture further.

The property is absolutely stunning
I can quite honestly say this is the most beautiful, well appointed house we have ever stayed in - the interior decorating is so perfect for the property - calm & totally relaxing from the moment you walk in. The bedrooms are all spacious & the soft furnishings and bedding are so comfortable & cosy that we took photos of the brand so we could purchase ourselves ! The kitchen area is fantastic - the 2 fridges & 2 dishwashers an absolute boon when there are 10 of you. There was absolutely nothing missing utensil & crockery wise - in fact it was such a refreshing change to have plenty of bowls, plates, glasses etc (including children’s plates/cups etc which was great for us). It doesn’t stop inside either ! The exterior is very attractive, lovely lawned areas where we played ladder golf & the toddlers could run around with their football. I loved the fact there were plenty of throws provided so that we could sit out later in the evening round the enormous outside table. The wild life that comes around the house is a wonderful bonus - whilst we were there we were visited by a deer, a fox, hares, pheasants, herons & a whole hosts of other birds (& by the way there was a pair of binoculars left in the house for us to use too !). The location of the property is perfect too - less than a 10 minute stroll across the field at the back & you are on the dunes & down to an absolutely stunning beach. As you can tell we were totally smitten with this home & would love to return - the perfect place for a family/friends get away ! Just wanted to mention Clare, Sam & Tara from Catch The Breeze who all looked after us so wonderfully well.
